MISS RUTH A. HENNEBERGER, 81, of 145 S. Washington St., died Sunday morning at Waynesboro Hospital.
She was born in Antrim Township, the daughter of George F. and Sarah Ovelman Henneberger.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Greencastle. A graduate of Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, she served in a hospital unit in France during World War I and was a medical missionary in China aud Japan for two years during the 1920s.
She is survived by one brother, Dr. Charles E. Henneberger of Atwood, Kan.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Greencastle with the Rev. Ralph S. Geiman and Rev. Luther Heist officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Grecncastle.
