He became District Clerk after the death of his father, Arrell Foster Sr 1969 who had served as Waller County District Clerk since 1937. Mr. A. F. Foster would have been so pleased to see the service continued by his son, Robert, until 1987 when Robert retired. Robert and Anita enjoyed 48 years and 6 mos of this life together.
