Nelza Sue Jeffreys

Funeral for Nelza Sue Jeffreys, 73, of Decatur will be Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Pressnell officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jeffreys died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 25, 1931, in Marion County to Farris Johnson and Opal Hargett Johnson. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Jeffreys was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Jeffreys; her grandson, Stuart Jeffreys; and her son-in-law, Steve Bagwell.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Bagwell of Decatur; two sons, Mike Jeffreys and his wife, Jan, of Gulf Shores and Phil Jeffreys of Decatur; two brothers, Bill Johnson and his wife, Sandy, of Decatur and Joe Johnson and his wife, Patty, of Gardendale; two grandchildren, Joseph Bagwell and his wife, Melissa, of Decatur and Jessica Cummings and her husband, Jason, of Cullman; and one great-grandson, Cooper James Cummings of Cullman.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Thorn, Jimmy Lucas, Billy Johnson, Jackie Self, John Babchak and David Woodard.
