Ann Rieken, 89, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Emerald Crest in Minnetonka.
She was born Oct. 18, 1918, in Jamestown, N.D., to Andrew and Thora (Berg) Een. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1936.
On June 22, 1946, Ann married Louie "Don" Rieken. Ann worked for Equitable Life Insurance and Lakeland Mental Health Center before retiring in 1983.
She was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls for many years.
She now joins her husband, parents and siblings, Oscar Een, Bell Rydholm, Sadie Bergman and Selma Stone in the presence of God.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Wendy) Rieken; grandchildren, Dana (John) Pollard and Kelly (Charley) Ciresi; great-grandson, Lincoln Pollard; sister-in-law, Vicky Een; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation: Two hours prior to the service at the church
