Eva "Marie" Shore, 84, passed away at 9:25 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Oaks Healthcare Center, Marion.
She was born the daughter of the late Jesse and Ruth (Hutchison) Rogers.
She married Thomas O. Shore on October 31, 1965 in Wichita, KA. He preceded her in death February 16, 1999.
Mrs. Shore retired from Wal-Mart as a sales associate in the fabrics and crafts department. She enjoyed customers and her co-workers.
She spent most of her life in the Grant County area. She enjoyed ceramics, raising dogs, sewing, arts, crafts, cooking for family and friends.
Survivors include children, Mona (Gary) Himelick, Marion, Bobbie Kay DeLaPorte, Gas City, William "Bill" Medlen, Goshen; brothers, Sonny Gray, Anderson, Rick Rogers, Upland, Jerry Rogers; sisters, Margaret Cummings, Gas City, Jean DeCamp, Upland, Ione "Frances" Lightle, Upland, Jackie Holloway; 17 grandchildren; and several great and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sons, Eddie Lee, James Medlen, Larry Goss, and a daughter, Christina Reynolds.
