Daniel Gutzmer was one of at least two brothers who were born in Deutschland and came to Nebraska. Daniel was born, 15 February 1824. They arrived in the port of New York City on, 18 June 1859. Later they made their way to Humboldt, Richardson, NE. Daniel married, Wilhelmina "Minna" Korber, and together, this couple shared six known children. Apparently, both Daniel and his wife are buried in Lynchburg, however I've not yet been able to locate a stone for them. Their son George is also buried here.
