The many friends of Miss Mary Backes will be interested in learning of her marriage to Mr. Adam Heinz of Kickapoo which occurred Wednesday morning at St. Mary's church at 9:45, Rev. C. P. O'Neill officiating.
Immediately after the bridal party were driven to the residence of Mr. John Backes, the bride's father, where a sumptuous wedding dinner was served.
In the afternoon the newly married couple drove to Kickapoo where a grand reception was tendered them that evening at the home of Mr. Heinz's parents.
After a few days stay at Kickapoo they will return to Mr. Backes' for a week and after March 20 will be at home to their friends at their future residence three fourths of a mile east of Kickapoo.
