F. G. Hesterman was born at Westernalsede, Province Hanover, Germany, on August 22nd, 1854. Came to America in the year 1878, settling on a farm one mile north of this city, where he has since resided up to the time of his death which occurred on Wednesday, November 19th, at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 27 days. He leaves to mourn his death, one brother who lives in Germany and his wife and four children.
The funeral services were conducted at the German Lutheran Church on Friday, November 21st, by Rev. L. Uhlman, and interment was made in the cemetery at that place.
