SHERMAN'S BUMMER COLUMN

George Bischop, an old pioneer died March 8, 1911, at his home near St. Leon, Dearborn County, Indiana, well prepared, at the age of 84 years 9 months and 14 days. He leaves a bereaved widow, three sons and one daughter to mourn the loss of a good Christian husband and father.

His funeral took place Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St Joseph's Church at St. Leon. Rev. M. Andrew officiating. R.I.P.

The deceased was born May 24, 1826, in Schimborr, near Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, Germany.

Relatives from a distance present at the funeral were George Bischof and family, of Indianapolis; John Bischof and family, of New Alsace, Ind.; Jos. Bischof and family, and John Ripperger and family, of St. Peters; Aloys Bischof, of Morris; Aloys Rosenberger and wife, Michael Kaiser and wife and John Fehl and wife, of Cedar Grove; Charles Bernhart and wife, and John Raiz and wife, of Brookville, and nearly all the members of St. Joseph's congregation.
