NEW SMYRNA BEACH - Josephine Booth Rasmussen, 85, of Downing Street, a resident since 1974, died Sunday at the Hospice Care Center, Port Orange. Mrs. Rasmussen, a homemaker, moved to this area in 1974 from Provo, Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed playing cards and Sun Cruise boat trips. She was also former dancer with the Earl Carroll Dance Group in California. Survivors include three daughters, Linda Payne, Shaunna Wilson and Debbie Cubbedge, all of New Smyrna Beach; a brother, Leland Dorious, Provo; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
