In 1925 she married Walter Parker (his stage name was Slivers Johnson), who was a circus clown. She stayed with the circus until the late 30's. She later remarried, this time to Henrich Feldmann and became a housewife.
The couple spent most of their lives in Michigan. At times while in Michigan she would help her father (who at this time was head animal curator the the Detroit Zoological Park) by occasionally staging the chimpanzee shows for the public.
In 1953, the couple moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they managed a retirement village for about 10 years. They retired in 1963 and moved to Melrose, Florida. Mr. Feldmann died in 1980.
She developed Alzheimer's disease in 1983 and came to live with her son in Oregon. She loved going to church and most of all loved singing praises to the Lord. While residing in Florida, she had owned three horses. She enjoyed horseback riding and at times would do her banking on horseback.
