Mrs. Joe W. Svec Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Joe W. (Lizzie) Svec passed away Tuesday, October 24, 1961, at the Warren Memorial hospital at Friend.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 26, at 2 p.m. at the Mulligan Auditorium. Further services will be held Friday, October 27, at Morse Bluff at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Morse Bluff.

Phythian Sisters Meet
The Phythian Sisters of Friendship Temple No. 20 met November 9th. Fifteen members were present.
The secretary read a card of appreciation from the family of Mrs. Joe (Lizzie) Svec. The visiting committee reported sending sympathy cards to the Lou Svec, Milo Buzek and John Kuska families.

"At this time members were reminded again of the loss of an active member. Mrs. Frank V Harmouz conducted an impressive memorial service for Mrs. Joe Svec, better known to everyone as Lizzie Svec. Mrs. Svec was an unselfish and always willing to give of her time. The club never served a dinner but that Mrs. Svec was there to make the coffee.
All will miss her and have already done so at the county convention."
