RITES HOLD FOR FORMER RESIDENT
Mrs. Henry Meyer, 68, a former resident of Rock county, died at her home in Bellingham, Minn. Death was caused by kidney trouble. Mrs. Meyer had been in ailing health for some time but she was seriously ill only two weeks.
Funeral services were held at Bellingham Tuesday morning and in the afternoon services were conducted at the German Lutheran church in Hardwick. The Rev. Martin Hauser officiated. Burial was at Maple wood cemetery and the following acted as pallbearers: Peter Meyer, Carl Dibbern, Louis Hoffelman, Ernest Hemme, Walter Ahrendt and Henry Hemme.
Annie Hoffelman was born at Minnesota Lake, Minn. on September 14, 1869. She came to Rock county in 1890 and on March 26, 1891 was married to Henry Meyer in this city. In 1908, they moved to Bellingham where they have since made their home.
Mr. Meyer and three sons survive: Ernest Meyer of Nassau, Minn., Harry of Bellingham and Arthur of Appleton, Minn. There are also three brothers, Wm. Hoffelman of Hardwick, Henry Hoffelman of Ihlen and Carl Hoffelman of Rice, Minn, and one sister, Mrs. A. C. Schmidt of Tripp, So. Dak.
