Lt. Winifred Rapp, Estelline, Killed

ESTELLINE. March 21, (Special) Lt. Winifred Rapp, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Rapp, Estelline, has been reported by the War Department as kill on the Western Front. He had previously been reported missing in action since Feb. 16.

Lieutenant Rapp was a graduate of Estelline High School, and a former student of Texas A. &. M. An infantryman, he had been overseas only a short time.

Lt. Winifred T. Rapp of the 255th Infantry, Seventh Army, was killed in France, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Rapp of Estelline have been notified. Lieutenant Rapp was reared in Estelline and attended A & M College three years before enlisting in the Army Reserve Corps. He graduated from the Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Ga., only last October and had been overseas only a few weeks when killed in action.
