Charlotte M. Anacker, 75 Charlotte M. Anacker, 75, formerly of Downing, died Sunday, April 13, at the Baldwin (Wis.) Area Medical Center. She was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Menomonie, the daughter of Louis and Elsie (Burke) Ford. On June 23, 1945, in Glenwood City, she was married to Martin Anacker. As newlyweds, they moved to South Beloit, Ill., but in 1953 returned to the Downing area, where he worked at Stout University in Menomonie. In 1995 she became a resident of Parkview Nursing Home in Woodville. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Martin, in 1984; and a granddaughter, Nicole. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City, with the Rev. Ralph Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Mound Cemetery in Downing. Arrangements were by Everts Funeral Home in Glenwood City.
