Sarah was a Lady that went up and above the call of her job as the Metamora Librarian in Metamora,Ohio. In the late 1960's until 1976 Sarah would hold a Fall theme painting contest for the town children. The children of town would go to the library and receive a sheet of gray paper with five little bags of dry paint of fall colors. Then you would go home and paint your theme and return it to the library to be judged. Then on Halloween night you would go throughout town finding your print in business windows for the winner of 1st, 2nd, 3rd,. I think of all the hard work Sarah did for the town children. Sarah resigned on February 1st. 1976 from the Library.
