Many online researchers have quoted her father as being Samuel Beyer/Boyer (27 April 1737- 09 May 1808). Indeed, this Samuel did have a daughter Christina, however in the final inventory papers (1838) this Christina's surname appears to be Haag, the wife of John Haag/Haack. Samuel's wife, mentioned several times in his will, is Elizabeth, and not Catherine (Kuser/Atland) as quoted by the same researchers.
It is a possibility and likely that Maria Christina (Bayer) Bower is a younger daughter of Johan Valentine & Maria Christina (Wink) Bayer. They also had a daughter Catherine Bayer who was married to Frederick Seiler/Sehler and together they were sponsors to Joseph & Christina (Bayer) Bower's daughter, Catherine Bower who died aged 4 years, 2 months, 6 days (1799-1803), burial unknown.
