Earl George Sisson, 70, of Kansas City, died at a hospital there Wednesday, January 23. The body arrived at the Gutting Funeral Home here, Thursday.
Mr. Sisson, a son of Marcellus (Trot) and Leona West Sisson grew up in the Luray vicinity, his father being a rural mail carrier there for years.
Surviving are a son, Ellis and a daughter, six brothers, Dale and Elmer of Sioux City, Iowa; Lawrence and Henry of Luray; Frank of Denver, Colorado; and Ennis of Keokuk, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Harnsberger of Keokuk and Mrs. Claudia Folger of Kansas City.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
Burial will be in Combs Cemetery.
