Edna Husfeldt, 89, of Henning, died Friday March 2, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Henning.
Edna Viola Hagen was born in Folden Township, Otter Tail County, Sept. 4, 1917, the daughter of John and Martha (Samuelson) Hagen. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith by Rev. J. L. Drage. She attended school through the eighth grade. Edna liked school and particularly enjoyed mathematics class.
She was married April 3, 1938, in Henning to Paul Husfeldt. They were married by Rev. Drage. They spent their entire lives in the Henning area. Paul died Jan. 6, 1976. Edna worked at the Henning Bakery and also worked for many years at the Henning Nursing Home. Edna liked sewing, quilting, cooking and making lefse. She liked playing cards with her family and friends and she had a special love of traveling and of maps.
Edna is survived by her sons: Donald (Liz) Husfeldt of Fergus Falls and Larry (Eldora) Husfeldt of Alexandria; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Reuben (Marion) Hagen of East Helena, Mont.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her parents; a sister, Mabel; and brothers: Arnold, Marvin, and Clarence.

Visitation: Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church
