Jack C. VonFeldt, 83, Brighton, died Friday, July 3, at Brighton. He was born June 15, 1988 to Christ and Annie (Kippes) VonFeldt at Victoria, Kan.

On Aug. 22, 1925 he married Helen Williams at Hyacianth, Kan.

VonFeldt attended schools at Victoria and Hyacianth. He and his wife came to Colorado following their marriage and farmed northwest of Fort Lupton until 1964. They moved to Grand Junction and operated a fruit orchard there until 1969, when they move to Loveland. They moved to Brighton in 1974.

Survivors are a son, Robert of Potter Valley, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Dinke of Brighton, Mrs. Alois (Katie) Liker of Hays, Kan. and Mrs. Mary Sack of Victoria; two brothers, Ned of Brighton, and Simon of Fort Lupton; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the Schmanski Chapel, 806 Denver Ave., Fort Lupton. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. William's Catholic Church, 1025 Fulton Ave., Fort Lupton. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Fort Lupton. Schmanski-Vetter Funeral Home, Fort Lupton, is in charge of arrangements.
