On Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, Natalie Joy Cappel, 78, of West Chester, departed peacefully for heaven.
She struggled with lung cancer.
She was the president and CEO of Rockland Immunochemical.
She was the loving daughter of Roman and Valeria Pawlowski (both deceased) of Collingswood, N.J.; cherished wife of Norman O. Cappel, Ph.D. (deceased), and of A. James Fendrick (deceased); beloved mother of Valerie Fendrick Patterson and Russell (deceased), Christopher and Susan (Mattera) and James and Maureen (McLaughlin); dearest sister of Roman and John; proud grandmother of Anthony, Stephanie, Ashley Elizabeth, Ashley Elise, Christopher, Erica and Lisa; and best friend of Eve Patterson.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Liturgy at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, 410 N. Church St., West Chester, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place thereafter in Oaklands Cemetery.
A reception will be held at the Inn of Chester Springs.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
