Angelina "Julie" Calcagno, 92, died on Tuesday (Aug. 24, 2010) at Bickford Cottage, Champaign.
She was born on Oct. 11, 1917 in Chicago to Joseph and Filomena Calebrese Nardi. She married John Calcagno on Oct. 15, 1950 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1990. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her children, Sara (Michael) Russian of Champaign, Joseph (Mindy) Calcagno of Mahomet, John (Lois) Calcagno of Champaign, Philomena (David) Schnepper of Mansfield, Tony (Kari) Calcagno of Mahomet and Julie (Rodney) Cox of Mansfield; 12 grandchildren, Julie McConaha, Nichole Millage, Angelina, Christina and Elizabeth Calcagno, Catherine and Sarah Calcagno, Alexandra and Madeline Calcagno, Jonathon and Courtney Cox, and Brett Schnepper and two great-granchildren, Ashlynn and Austin McConaha.
