Eva Dickens, age 80 of Plainview, AR died Sunday, February 25, 2001 at Sparks Medical Center in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born in Scott County, AR October 3, 1920, daughter of the late Lidge and Mandy Slater Wagner. She was retired from Wayne Poultry, a mother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonzo Dickens, a grandson, Mike Dickens and a granddaughter, Lee Ann Meriweather; two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include, a son, Lonnie Dickens of Centerville, AR; two daughters, Fay Meriweather of Plainview, AR and Sue Burt of Dardanelle, AR; one brother, Leon Wagner of Waldron, AR; three sisters, Gladys Keener, Dovie Yandell and Lillie Blevins all of Waldron, AR; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at 10:00 a. m. at the Plainview First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery in Plainview, AR.
