FUNERAL OF ONEIDA WOMAN

Oneida, Ill., Jan. 6, Funeral services of Mrs. Hester Pelham were held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Hannah Roe Wednesday at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E.W. Thompson, pastor of the Methodist Church. Burial was in the Oneida Cemetery.

Hester Ann Ide was born June 27, 1836, in Lehman, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. She was united in marriage to John Pelham in 1874, who departed this life in 1899. Mrs. Pelham spent the greater part of her life in Pennsylvania, but because of failing health she was compelled to make her home with relatives. For the past four years she has made her home in Knoxville, where she peacefully passed away about noon January 1, 1917.

Mrs. Pelham had been a member of the Methodist Church since childhood and throughout her years was actively interested in the good work of the institution.
