Ernest A. Haeuser, 304 N. Whitford, died Tuesday at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo. He was 71.

Services will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Otto Dale officiating.

A resident of Fergus Falls most of his life, he was born at Dorchester, Wis., Feb. 6, 1904, a son of Henry and Marie Haeuser. He was married to Marion Brandt in Minneapolis in October, 1930. He was employed by Otter Tail Power Company as an auditor for about 40 years.
Mr. Haeuser was secretary of Corner Stone Lodge A.F. & A.M. for 22 years. He was past commander of the Comandery, a past high priest of Royal Arch Masons and past master of the Blue Lodge. He was a charter member of the Rifle and Pistol Club and a former member of the Fergus Falls Saddle Club.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Nancy) Haynes, Houston, Texas, and three grandchildren. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Martha Sorenson, Mrs. Margaretha Knopp and Mrs. Harriet Brantley, all of Burlington, Wis., and a brother, Charles, Minburn, Alberta.

Masonic services will be held at the Glende-Johnson-Nelson chapel Friday at 8 p.m.
