ROCKWALL, Texas - Bobbie Ann Verell, 75, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, after a long illness. She was born on Nov. 7, 1934, to Alton and Mary Womack. Her greatest joy was to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren playing cards and eating teacakes. Heaven will be a brighter place with our sweet angel adding to its grandeur.
Services were held Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Houston with Bro. Carl Morris officiating. Burial was in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Mantee.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas H. Verell Jr.; two children, Thomas A. "Al" Verell and wife, Karen, of Round Rock, Texas, and CHERYL ANN SWICK and husband, RANDY SWICK , of San Angelo, Texas; two sisters, Jackie McQuary and husband, Bill, of Memphis, and Sarah Edwards and husband, Ed, of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Dan Womack and wife, Sylvia, of Mantee; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson, Brandon McQueen; Nick Verell and wife, Amanda, and son, Jake; Heather Verell; Mallory Swick; Riley Swick; Owen Swick and wife, Cathy; and Evan Swick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Mary Womack; a sister, Mary McWilliams; and a brother, Don Womack.
