JOHN F. SCHIRMER
October 30, 1862 ~ July 7, 1944
TEXARKANA, July 12. --- John F. Schirmer, 82, retired merchant of Nashville, Ark., died Friday at his home here. He was a native of Washington, Ark. He resided at White Cliffs a number of years.
He is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Fred Hankins of Nashville, Mrs. Ethal Stephens of Dallas. Mrs. Ruth Whitt of Texarkana, Mrs. J. L. Willingham of St. Louis, Mrs. B. C. Mahaffey of Texarkana, Mrs. E. M. Jones of Dallas, Mrs. Carrie Dell Faqua of St. Louis; four brothers, Will and Ed Schirmer of Nashville, Adolph and Joe Schirmer of Paraloma, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. George Cooper of Paraloma; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a. m. Monday at the East funeral home chapel, and burial was made in Hillcrest cemetery.
