Eunice - Mrs. Eddie Miller, nee Emma Christ, 73, of Eunice, died Wednesday, September 22 at 9:50 p.m. in the Moosa Memorial Hospital following a week long illness.
Funeral services were held in the St. Anthony Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept 24 with interment in St. Paul Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, Eddie Miller of Eunice; four sons, Clifton & I.E. Miller of Eunice, Jules Miller of Houma and James Miller of Port Neches, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Andrus, Mrs. Mamie Bankston, Mrs. Anna Mae Cooper all of Eunice and Mrs. Lucille Landry of Iowa, La.; six brothers, Paul Christ of Basile, Lawrence Christ of Lake Charles, Xavier Christ of Port Arthur, Texas, Henry Christ of Beaumont, Texas, Ferdinand Christ of Winnie, Texas and Rodney Christ of Hampshire; three sisters, Miss Theresa Christ and Mrs. I.E. (Helena) Miller of Eunice and Mrs. Irene Hubert of Beaumont, Texas, 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
