Rusty died on Friday Dec. 27, 2002 at her home in Beaverton, Oregon after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial for friends and colleagues was held at her home January 3. A private graveside service at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud on Jan. 18 will lay her to rest next to her beloved father.
Rusty was born to Edwin and Verene (Tresco) Timmers in St. Cloud MN. She married Roger Wieber in 1960 and they later divorced. She worked at various administrative positions in Minnesota before moving with her children to Oregon in 1974. During the last 12 years she worked for Medak Realty and was a top producer most of those years.
She leaves behind family and many friends and will be greatly missed for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her sons Kelly and his wife Stephanie of Portland, Oregon, Mike and his wife Renee of Alameda, California; three grandchildren Taylor, Ally, and Kelly; mother, Verene of St. Cloud; sisters and brothers Susan Clarke, Ben Lomond, California, Michael, Sauk Rapids, Rita Schade, Cleveland, Ohio, Joanne Janski, St. Augusta, Edwin, St. Cloud, Colleen, Blaine, MN, Rebecca, Vista California.
She was preceded in death by her father Edwin on October 1, 1983, and her brother-in-law Alan Clarke on May 3, 2000.
The family would like to give a special thank you from our hearts to our sister Susan who moved to Portland to live with and take such wonderful care of Rusty for her last 6 months.
