Aka Fuzzie and husband Dean, had no children. She suffered Alzheimer's disease and had been a resident at UPMC, Sugarcreek Station, Franklin, Venango Co., PA for several years preceding death. Weddng Note: She and Dean were married 17 June 1944 at tne First Presbyterian Church, Franklin, Venango Co., PA. The wedding party consisted of Mrs. Allan Hoffman was matron of honor. Attendants were Mrs. Raymond Woodward, sister of the bridegroom, Mrs. Mildred Gallaway Martin, cousin of the bride and Miss Bettlie Bohmender. Mr. Houghton's best man was Allan Hoffman. The ushers wee Russell Foster, uncle of the bride, Howard Robisin, James Kenneth Martin, J. Robert Burns, and Eugene Steele.

Obituary: Florence G. Houghton, 88, of 351 Causeway Drive, Franklin, formerly of Elk Street, Fraklin, and Stuart, Fla., passed away at 2:30 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2010, at Sugarcreek Station. Born Feb. 1, 1922, in San Antonio, she was the daughter of Edward Alexander and Florence Foster Graebner. She was married June 17, 1944, to Leonard. Dean Houghton, and he preceded her in death in 1992. Mrs. Houghton was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin as well as the former Franklin Club and the Venango Country Club. Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dale Francis, interim pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, presiding. Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery. Friends may send online condolences by visiting www.gardinierfuneralhome.com.
