Leveta B. Flynn, 78, formerly of 1326 N. Fifth St., died at 7:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 1993, at Parkhill Medical Complex. Born June 24, 1914, in Marceline, Mo., to William C. and Helen Henderson Sweezer, she married John B. "Barney" Flynn in Fort Madison, Iowa. He died Dec. 20, 1975, in Chillicothe. One sister and one brother also preceded her in death. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Hap (Norma) Murphy of Chillicothe, Mrs. Robert (Anita) Petrich of Lacon, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Musselman of Morton and Mrs. Mitch (Kathy) Mitchell of Washington; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel. The Rev. Katherine Harding will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery.
