Burial was at Woodville Cemetery, Waseca. Mr. Born died Wednesday, June 14 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester. He was 71.
On May 3, 1946, he married Bonnie VonSien at the First Congregational Church, Waseca. Mr. Born lived all of his life in Waseca County. He farmed and bought and sold cattle. In 1958, Mr. Born became a director of the First National Bank, Waseca, and remained in that position until the present time. Mr. Born was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Waseca, and a former member of the Waseca Lions Club.
Mr. Born is survived by his wife, Bonnie; two daughters, Judy (and Jack) L. Shafer, Susan (and Cory) Boje, all of Waseca; a son, Louis (and Mary) Born, Winona; a sister, Alice (and Jerry) Robinson, Waseca; a brother, Percy Born, Waseca; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers. McRaith Funeral Home, Waseca, was in charge of arrangements.
