Hilda, age 88, passed away at Westy Community Care Home in Westmoreland. She was the daughter of Frederick and Mary (Klunenburg) Niehues. She was postmaster at Blaine Post Office for years. She married Thomas Magnett on November 12, 1960, in Blaine. She is survived by her sister, Ida Boom. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, Alvin Niehues, Conrad Niehues, Fritz Niehues, Freid Niehues, Marie Hermesch, and Freda Wessel. Funeral Services were held at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church in Blaine. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
