Anna Maria's body was found in the river below the city. Per newspaper accounts: A man, whose name we did not learn, reported that he had seen a lady answering her description sitting on the Wabash railroad bridge, about 8 o'clock Saturday night, and a lady living in that vicinity also said she saw her pass her home.
Also: It is generally believed that on the night of her disappearance, she jumped from the Wabash bridge into the river, and was carried by the current to the place where her body was found.

Anna Maria's husband was William F. Amelang (#84725173).

Anna Maria was not married to Franz -- he was her brother-in-law. Hannah is the correct spouse.
