HERMAN SLIVNIK
ST. STEPHEN, MN---Herman Slivnik, 67, a retired farmer, died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was born Sept 9, 1900 in Brockway Township and married Anna Bernick.
Mr. Slivnik is survived by his widow and the following children, Mrs. Joseph (Rose Ann) Omann, Mrs. Nick (Dorothy) Justin; James and Robert, St. Stephen; Mrs. David (Theresa) Hunstiger, Mrs. LeRoy (Mary) Spychala and Mrs. Harold (Evangeline) Warnert, St. Cloud; Alfred, Bowlus, MN; Frank, Stephen, Michael, Anna Mae, and Agnes, at home: 41 grandchildren; three sisters, Sr. Methodia OSB, Cottonwood, ID; Mrs. James (Gertrude) Zima, St. Stephen; Mrs. Frank (Agnes) Kosel, St. Cloud; and one brother, Joseph, Sauk Rapids. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday from St. Stephen church.
Pallbearers will be Richard Zima; Raymond, Harold, Patrick and Marcel Kosel and Joseph Slivnik Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Hlebain, Peter Justin, John Smoley, John Supan, August Legatt and Mathew Kosel.
Friends may call at St. Stephen's parish hall after 2 p.m. Saturday.
