Mrs. Donna Adler, age 73 of Atlanta, died Thursday, June 10, 2004.

A graduate of Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN, Mrs. Adler received a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education. She retired from the Fulton County School System in 2000. Mrs. Adler was active with the Dorothy Benson Senior Center in Sandy Springs and volunteered with the Fulton County Library System.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Philip Adler, Jr.; her sons and daughters-in-laws, Scott Philip and Holly Adler of Alpharetta, GA; Todd Louis Adler of Suwannee, GA and Bradley Thomas and Jennifer Adler of Smyrna, GA; her grandchildren, Danielle Nicole Adler, Courtney Grace Adler, Carson Philip Adler and Reece Ann Adler; her brothers, Verlyn Gibson of Bellefontaine, OH and Von Gibson of Texas and her sisters, Karen Brink of Holland, MI and Barbara Syverson of Chicago, IL.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 2 PM at the Sandy Springs Christian Church with the Rev. Mike Bryant officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sunrise Chapel Mausoleum at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening June 15 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "The Friends of Benson, Inc. (Dorothy Benson Senior Center) located at 6500 Vernon Woods Drive, Atlanta, GA 30328." Arrangements by H.M.
