The sympathy of our people have this week been extended to the family of Paul Gaze, deceased, where the fatal effects of typhoid fever had made itself felt with avengeance. Mrs. Gaze and daughter, Clara, both died Sunday, while four more of the family were bedfast, one of which may have passed into the other world, as you read this in print. The others are convalescent and may recover, but imagine the sorrow they will encounter when discovering that their family circle is broken. The funeral of the two who died Sunday took place Tuesday morning from St. Mary's Catholic church, interment in the new cemetery.
