Life's End. HANS BORM, 76, LONGTIME REMSEN AREA RESIDENT, SUCCOMBS

Hans Henry Born, 76, longtime Remsen area resident, died Sunday at his home in Remsen. He was a retired farmer.

He was born Aug 21, 1891 at Remsen and lived there his entire life. He farmed south of Remsen and retired to Remsen 23 years ago. His parents were the late Claus and Catherine (Rolfs) Borm.

His marriage to Caroline Engelbrecht took place Sept 2, 1920, at Christ Lutheran church, Remsen. She preceded him in death in 1939. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John and a sister, Mrs. William Hansen.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran church, Remsen. Rev. Alfred Christensen will officiate and burial will be in Remsen city cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Murle (Delores) Klohs, Tarzana, Calf., and Mrs. Mark (Phyllis) Meis, Le Mars; seven grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Christine Madelkow, Bridgewater, S.D., Annie Borm, Remsen, and Mrs. Emma Erichsen, Remsen.
