Howard A. "Buster" Grafing, 93, Barron, Wis., died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Luther Midelfort Northland, Barron.

He was born Nov. 22, 1916, at Algona, Iowa, to John and Ida (Hocamp) Grafing. He moved to the Turtle Lake area in 1921. Buster attended Turtle Lake schools. He worked at the Turtle Lake Feed Mill for many years.

Buster married Florence Lindberg at Almena on July 31, 1965. She preceded him in death on Dec. 6, 1975.

Surviving are sisters Eva Heppner of Almena and Ella Fenske of Rice Lake; stepsons Bill and Joe Henck; a stepdaughter Ruth Spencer; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Howard was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, from Parkview United Methodist Church, Turtle Lake, with Rev. Grace Baldridge officiating and burial at Mount Hope Cemetery, Turtle Lake. Pallbearers were Bill Brodie, Harland Fenske, Jeff Becker, Scott Sollman, Kevin Hoffman and Jeff Hoffman.

Skinner Funeral Home, Turtle Lake, handled arrangements.
