Ben Tombrink, 85, who operated a farm ten miles south of Great Falls for the last 20 years, died at his farm home Sunday following 18 months of illness. Funeral services will be held from the O'Connor chapel at 8:45 Thursday morning and at St. Ann's Cathedral at 9. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. Mr. Tombrink was born in Germany Jan. 23, 1852. He had farmed at that place south of Great Falls since first coming here in 1916. There survive the widow, Mrs. Annie Tombrink; four sons, John of Whitefish, Henry of Livingston, Louis and Joseph of Great Falls; and five daughters, Mrs. Annie Stevenson, Josephine Tombrink and Lillian Tombrink, all of Great Falls, Mrs. Mary McArthur of Maple, Idaho, and Mrs. Bertha Tetrault of Kalispell. - Great Falls Tribune (MT), 30 March 1937
