Twila Sue "Susie" (nee Moritz) Lawson, 77, passed away October 14, 2010 in Chillicothe, OH. She was the beloved wife of the late Dale Lawson. She was born in 1933 in Buckhart, MO to the late George and Mary Moritz,
Survivors include Catherine (George) Beck and Stephen (Stephenie) Lawson; sister, Francis (LaVelle), John (Wanda) and Phillip (Linda) Moritz; grandchildren, Christina Beck, Cara Lawson and Matthew Beck, neices and nephews, Deneen Girgin, Missy Moritz, Britia Bradshaw, Kim Moritz, Sherry Wiles, Jeffrey and Wesley Moritz.
She was raised on a small farm in Douglas County with her brothers Francis, John and Phillip. She was a 1951 graduate of Ava High School. She was a 1954 RN graduate of St. John's Hospital School of Nursing in Springfield, MO. For many years, she was a supervising nurse at St. Joe's Infant & Maternity Home in Cincinnati, OH until retiring to a farm in Highland County with Dale, where they were active members of St. Elizabeth's Church. In 2002, she moved to Chillicothe to live with her daughter Cathy, and she also became a parishioner of St. Mary's Church.
Services were entrusted to Mueller Parker Funeral Home of Mason, Ohio.
