Elizabeth Agnes Mack, the daughter of Charles and Anna Maria Mack, was born at Castlewood, South Dakota, on February 28th, 1903. Her grandparents were Nick and Elizabeth Meyer Mack and Andreas and Susanna Hoffman Mack. Liz grew up on the family farm near Castlewood and attended country school. As a young woman, Liz moved to Watertown, SD and worked as a telephone operator.

Elizabeth married Lawrence Heim, the son of Anton and Margaret Lenhoff Heim, on November 30th 1939 at Watertown. The couple made Watertown their home. In the mid-1940's, Mr. and Mrs. Heim established a farm near Faulkton, SD.

Elizabeth Mack Heim passed away on October 25th, 1955 at Faulkton, at the age of 52. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with burial in St. Thomas Cemetery, south of Faulkton.

Mrs. Heim was survived by her husband, Lawrence Heim of Faulkton, two sons, Larry and Richard at home, her father-in-law, Anton Heim of Ashton, SD, her siblings, Nick Mack of Clear Lake, SD, Mary and James Lavery of Estelline, SD, Lena and William Peyton of Toronto, SD, Charles and Margaret Mack of Watertown, Ann and Edward Kaiser of Estelline, Rose and John Lantgen of Watertown, Leonard and Irene Mack of Kranzburg, SD, and Margaret and Albert Langten of Watertown.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mack, in 1932, her father, Charley Mack in 1935, her grandparents, and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Anton Heim
