Edward J. Tobolski, 60, of 1307 Dunham Street, died at 9:45am Sunday in St Joseph's Hospital after a two month illness.
He was born on March 23, 1901, in South Bend and on September 20, 1926, married Sophie Wcisel in St. Casimir's Catholic Church. Mr. Tobolski was a die maker at the Bendix Corp. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Jerome and Ronald; a daughter, Mrs. Christine Gerschoffer, all of South Bend, and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Woltman and Mrs. Alice King, and two brothers, Joseph and Ollie, all of South Bend.
Mr. Tobolski was a member of the Holy Name Society, the Married Men's Club, the Bendix Old Timers Club, the Kosciuszko Club, the Jolly Boys Club, the Triple L. Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
