He is survived by his wife Shelley and four children, Joseph, Samuel, Jonathan and Abigail all of Victoria Australia. He is also survived by his father, Elmer Leon Hutton, his brothers, Gary Leon Hutton and Ronnie Lee (Mary Lou) Hutton. Also surviving are seven nieces and a nephew.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Mark was a graduate of Limestone High School and received his bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University.
He went on to work for Caterpillar for several years, eventually being transferred to Australia in 1992.
He was employed as a manager for QGC at the time of his tragic death.
