DIED—Near the Golden Gate, on Thursday evening, November 27th, Christian Koenig, aged 77 years. The funeral will take place from the residence of his son in this city, on the north side, at 1 o'clock p. m. to-day. Friends are invited to attend. While the people of the nation were returning thanks to the Great Giver for good gifts, the life of this good old man went out peacefully and without a struggle, and he went way beyond the stars to offer his thanks to the Godhead around the white throne, leaving an existence that bordered on a century for one of eternity. May the example of a long life well spent be of good and consolation to sorrowing friends left behind.
