Reinhold A. Horst, 77, of Millhome, died Wednesday morning at Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein, where he had resided for a week and a half.
He was born January 8, 1907, in Wausau, son of Alexander and Christina Krause Horst. Mr. Horst graduated from Wausau High School in 1925. He and the former Mathilda Schultz were married on May 21, 1927 at Waukegan, Illinois, and had lived in Sheboygan before moving to Millhome. Mr. Horst was employed by the Kohler Company for 44 years and retired in 1969. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kiel and the Kiel Senior Citizens, and the Kohler Quarter Century Club.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Audrey) Chandler of Oshkosh; a son, Robert of Millhome; five grandchildren; a great grandchild; a brother, John and a sister, Mrs. Emil Fellinger, both of Sheboygan.
The funeral was at Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel. The Reverend Richard Warnke, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, officiated. Burial was in the Kiel Cemetery.
