Funeral services with full military honors for David Lee (Frog) Robinson Sr., 72, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Robinson died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at his residence.

He was born June 3, 1935, in Putnam County to the late Thomas and Jessie Thompson Robinson.

Mr. Robinson retired from the Army after serving in Korea and Vietnam. He later retired from law enforcement with the Putnam County Sheriff's Department and worked for Spring Street Market after retirement.

His family includes two sons, David Lee Jr. and Daniel Robinson, both of Cookeville; four granddaughters, Latisha Leigh Billen and husband Brant, and Danielle Leigh Robinson, all of Cookeville, Courtney Lashea Robinson of Sparta and Sydney Leigh Ann Robinson; a grandson, Dustin Rose Langford of Cookeville; two great-granddaughters, DeAundria Leigh and Gabrielle Simone Billen, both of Cookeville; two great-grandsons, Brant Markeith Billen Jr. and Tristan Blaine Chubb, both of Cookeville; a stepdaughter, Natalie Wallace of Cookeville; three step-grandchildren, Devin McClellan, Isaiah Henderson and Schuyler Troy; a brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Helen Robinson of Detroit, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and George Thomas Robinson, and two sisters, Leon and Clara Sue Robinson.

Pallbearers will be the Putnam County Sheriff's Department employees.

Memorial donations may be made to the family at the funeral home to help with final expenses.

Bro. Earl Dirkson will officiate the services.
