Anna was the eleventh child and seventh daughter of Xaver and Christiane Geiger Aleck. She was married 9 December 1904 at Council Bluffs, Iowa to Isaac "Ike" Alma Hyde born June 4, 1878 at Logan, Iowa, the son of Charles Leverette and Mary Russell Hyde.

Anna was a member of the Christian Science church. They were the parents of five children, one son and four daughters. They were: Charles Xavier born 19 November 1905, Mary Rose born 4 March 1908, Frances Christiana born 28 November 1909,in Topbar, South Dakota and died 1983 Phoenix, Arizona, Lucy Jane born 25 June 1914 at St. Cloud, Minnesota, Elizabeth Ann born 12 March 1922.
