Edith was born 8 Mar 1913 in Fall City, King, Washington. The second daughter of Harry Leroy Totten and Elverna Higbee. She was married five times, (1) Marcel Bernard Walker, (2) William McCurdy, (3) Frank Bowles, (4) Eugene Robinson and (5) Vernon Horton Hackett.
Marcel and Edith had three children. Edith passed away 26 Dec 2006 in Coos Bay, Coos, Oregon. She was buried 2 Jan 2007 in Ocean View Memorial Gardens, next to her husband Frank Bowles. Edith was a great lady. She had a wonderful sense of humor, with an impish grin when she was up to something. She stayed active right up to the end. SHe loved to paint and was very talented. In her 80s she took up line dancing. Maybe that's why the error on her marker. She seemed more like 75 than 93. She was a remarkable person and I'm proud she was my aunt.
