STRATFORD James S. Stotmeister, 65, died Sunday at 3:15 p. m. in Memorial Hospital, Wausau. He moved to that city recently after farming in the Town of Cleveland for many years.

Funeral services will be held at the Sauter Funeral Home here Wednesday at 2:30 p. m., the Rev. F. H. Giles, Marshfield, officiating. The body will repose there beginning Tuesday noon.

A native of Rock Island County, Ill., he was born Sept. 28, 1887. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. James (Gladys) Knox, Beaver Dam; four sons, Edward, Beaver Dam; Roland, U. S. Army, Philippine Islands; and Marvin and Raymond, Wausau.

One grandchild and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Andrew and Herman, East Moline, Ill.; William, Town of Cleveland; Sophie, Emma, and Fredricka, East Moline, Ill.; and Mrs. August Struss, Port Buron, Ill.
